The purpose of the constricted field darkroom is to serve as an alternative to GTEM cell premeasurement as well as research and scientific fields.The interior lining of the walls and ceilings is completely lined with ferrite absorbent and the rear wall of the EUT next to it has an additional mixed absorbent lining of 6 m2, ranging in frequency from 30MHz to 18GHz in the measuring chamber.The most important advantage, over GTEM cells, is the fact that employees can enter the room (simpler setup, corresponding cables with EUT) for the actual test setup of peripherals, as well as the possibility of larger samples in the room.UCC can be used for pre-specified radiation emission measurements and disturbance rejection tests at a distance of 1 m as per the standard IEC/ en61000-4-3. In addition, it is well suited for automotive parts pre-gauge measurements according to DIN/ iso11452-2 and EN55025 (CISPR25).The United States can also act as a normal screening chamber for testing if needed.Due to its small size, the room can be placed in a normal laboratory or office.
